Friday Art Roundup #6
This week I continued working on my lettering with a self-care positivity theme.
1. Learning Not Lost
Right now, as a 22 year old recent graduate, it is hard to determine what I am going to do with my life. Add in a pandemic, and it's hard to tell what I am going to do with next week. It's a weird time, but it's a great time to learn -- about yourself, your values, your hidden talents, how you work, and how you handle boredom. For me, I create. Whether that's digital content, art, blogs, or silly little doodles on a scrap piece of paper. But, ya know what? I am still learning. I learn something new every single day, and I make mistakes every day too. But the thing is, I am learning, not lost, and I am absolutely cool with that.
2. I Care More About My Sleep Than My Mascara
My second piece of artwork shows a little more about me. I am not always put together, in fact, I rarely look as put together as my brain actually is. The reason why: I care more about my sleep than my mascara (or my outfit, or my shoes, you get the picture). Don't get me wrong, I can pull it together and fit right in at any fancy meeting, but I am most at home in a cozy sweater, comfy jeans, and a messy bun.
Thanks for checking up my 6th Friday Art Roundup! See you next week. :)
